UPSC signature size: 350 to 500 px, 20 to 100 KB

One JPG named 'signature' showing your signature three times, one below the other, in black ink on plain white paper, between 20 KB and 100 KB and 350 to 500 pixels. The preset below applies every part of the rule and shows the result before you download.

or drop images here to get them under 100 KBJPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more. Nothing is uploaded. You can also paste a screenshot.

How it works

  1. The preset is set to 400 × 500 px, JPG, 20 KB to 100 KB.
  2. Drop your photo. It is cropped around the centre to the exact shape, then compressed until it fits.
  3. Check the row: size, pixels, and whether it cleared the minimum.
  4. Download, and upload it to the portal.

Before you upload

  • Sign three times on one sheet, leaving a finger's width between signatures, and photograph or scan it straight on. Crop to the block of three with the crop tool at 4:5 before applying the preset, so the top or bottom signature is not cut.
  • The preset outputs 400 × 500 pixels, inside the 350 to 500 band on both sides. Signatures on white paper compress well, so the tool raises quality to clear the 20 KB floor, and pads the JPEG with comment bytes if quality alone is not enough.
  • Rename the download to signature.jpg before uploading.

Questions

Does 350 to 500 pixels refer to the width or the height?

The instruction gives one range without naming a side, so the safe reading is both. The preset's 400 × 500 keeps width and height inside the range.

Can I upload three separate signature images?

No. The portal takes one image that contains all three signatures, and rejects files that do not show exactly three.

Is blue ink accepted?

The instructions specify black ink on white paper. Blue scans lighter and can fail the clarity check, so re-sign in black if you can.
