Must be underKB or MB
Exact pixel size and other options
or drop images here to get them under 200 KBJPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more. Nothing is uploaded. You can also paste a screenshot.
How it works
- The limit is set to 200 KB; change it if your form says otherwise, or add a minimum.
- Open the options to add an exact pixel size when the rule gives one.
- Drop the images. The ruler under each shows where the result landed against the limit.
- Download one, or all as a ZIP.
Who needs 200 KB
Two hundred kilobytes sits just under the 240 KB ceiling of the US visa photo upload and inside the limits of many embassy and immigration portals. Those systems also demand a square photo of 600 to 1200 pixels, so the typical job is to crop square, resize, and then land under the byte limit.
- Visa and immigration photo uploads
- Scanned documents and certificates
- Email attachments with strict limits
What to expect at 200 KB
A square 600-pixel JPG almost never needs more than 120 KB, so the search usually finishes at a high quality setting. If you are uploading a scanned document at 200 KB, keep the scan at 150 DPI or lower before compressing, or let the tool reduce the dimensions.
