Compress image to 10 KB

Must be underKB or MB
Exact pixel size and other options
or drop images here to get them under 10 KBJPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more. Nothing is uploaded. You can also paste a screenshot.
How it works
- The limit is set to 10 KB; change it if your form says otherwise, or add a minimum.
- Open the options to add an exact pixel size when the rule gives one.
- Drop the images. The ruler under each shows where the result landed against the limit.
- Download one, or all as a ZIP.
Who needs 10 KB
Ten kilobytes is the budget for a scanned signature or a thumb impression, not for a photograph. Indian bank and exam portals (IBPS, SBI, SSC) ask for signatures between 10 and 20 KB, and a phone scan of a signature is usually 500 KB or more, so the file has to shrink by around fifty times.
- Signature uploads on bank and exam forms
- Thumb impressions and initials
- Tiny avatars and favicons
What to expect at 10 KB
A signature on white paper fits easily: most of the image is one colour, which JPG stores in very few bytes. If your scan is a large photo of a desk, crop it to the signature first with the crop tool, then come back. Expect the pixel size to drop to around 300 pixels wide.
