SSC signature size: 6 × 2 cm, 10 to 20 KB
Scanned signature as a JPEG between 10 KB and 20 KB, about 6.0 cm wide by 2.0 cm high, as asked on SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS, CPO, GD and Stenographer forms. The photograph is no longer uploaded: the form captures it live. The preset below applies every part of the rule and shows the result before you download.

How it works
- The preset is set to 472 × 157 px, JPEG, 10 KB to 20 KB.
- Drop your photo. It is cropped around the centre to the exact shape, then compressed until it fits.
- Check the row: size, pixels, and whether it cleared the minimum.
- Download, and upload it to the portal.

Before you upload
- Sign in black ink on plain white paper, photograph or scan it straight on, then crop to the signature with the crop tool's 3:1 ratio before applying the preset, so the cover crop does not cut the ends of your signature.
- The notice gives the size in centimetres, not pixels. The preset uses 472 × 157 pixels (6 × 2 cm at 200 DPI), which clears 10 KB easily and still shows a sharp preview.
- Candidates who authenticate with Aadhaar are not rejected on photograph or signature standards, but the file still has to be inside the 10 to 20 KB band to upload.
